Whenever we play UVA since joining the ACC, it feels like a game of chess where the opponent has a queen and we don’t have one. Meaning, we can kind of hang around for a little while, but eventually it will always get away from us due to their superior movement.

I just pray we're ready to pull the trigger with a new HC plan at the season's end, that deets have been back-channelled with one of our top targets, and that we strike quickly and decisively to get as quick a jump on roster building as possible.

If the "hire" can gets kicked down the road by the BOD until the new chancellor transition is complete and/or new AD is in place, then we get whatever choice E (or worse) we deserve on our HC target list that's left on the board by the time we get around to making the decision... And whatever portal scraps we can slap together for some semblance of a roster after that...

I can’t imagine Kline chose only these players to present to the staff. It’s likely that he gives the staff options based on the type of players they want and the staff choose which players they want from the identified players.

And maybe Kline has better options and does not want to come back.
