I hate the new rules. That play near the end is a perfect example of why. The defender did everything right and still got whistled for a block. Should have been a no call or maybe a charge. They didn't need to implement new rules, just actually enforce the ones they had.

Actually, that is exactly what they've done. They aren't any new rules; they're just enforcing the existing ones as they were written. The closest that they've come to changing a rule is the new interpretation of the blocking/charging call with respect to "being set", and, since that should reduce Duke's flopping all over the floor, it should be welcomed.
