Visiting for Spring 2022

There’s a local guy who took his son out there to give him more exposure. He brought Mahki Connor and Vic Snow with him. When Mahki started getting offers it made others want to go out there. He is housing Rochester kids who want to relocate. The 7v7 team they play for has a lot of connections also. That’s how they are getting most of their offers. Inglewood HS has started a reputation for producing prospects. They’ve had several players go D1. Other Rochester kids like Justus Ross Simmons and Jamari Johnson went out there this past year. Justus committed to Colorado St. Jamari verbaled to Louisville.

So is the goal here to establish an environment in CNY and WNY such that kids don't need to go to CA?

I like the emphasis on recruiting locally. I think it will create more buzz locally, and get more kids focused on playing and developing year round. We may not have a ton of talent locally, but I think we can influence that. If there's a belief that it's possible, kids will push harder, atleast that's my theory.
