I just noticed Calvin Murphy lost to Jim O'Rourke (1800s baseball player). Calvin was one of my all-time favorites having met him at a basketball camp when I was young. Surprised he lost.

Calvin was collateral damage...BTW, I liked him too as a player. Most famous Niagara player ever.

Understand... he was sacrificed for the greater good.

I saw him the summer before his rookie year at a local high school basketball camp while I was in elementary school. He wore his San Diego Rockets uniform and everyone there was in awe of his physical ability... very fast...could dunk with ease, etc. all in a 5'9" package. He also twirled the baton for us! After that, he became my favorite NBA player and I always asked for 23 when choosing my jersey numbers. I recall staying up late one night when the Rockets were playing the Nets on TV (in the days when not every game was televised in my locality). He had 57 that night. He was also one of the toughest guys in the NBA and noted for punching out guys a foot taller.

Too funny.

I like at the end one mentions Caitlin Jenner as deserving "guy"... so I go to Wiki and search on Bruce Jenner and find all the "he" references were changed to a "she". Where "she" attended high school, etc.. I also didn't realize she played football before she did the decathlon. It's a mixed, muddled up up shook up world except for Caitlin.

Oh well... go Floyd!
