Maybe they are worse than Rex? Honestly, as bad as he has been, it’s possible he might not be the only QB on this roster that IS NOT an ACC or even a D1 caliber recruit. They’re both true freshman and neither was heavily recruited out of high school. This ingredients usually don’t yield immediate results.

You give these guys scholarships in the hopes that one of them can do something when your starter is out and the backup is stinking it up.

If they aren't good enough to play in that situation its moronic to keep them around on scholarship for a few years in hopes they get good overnight (with no game experience.)
