The appropriate answer would be improved and young not bad.
I'm going to remember Jake Fischel...
I'm trying to find QB Hurries and/or Hits as well from Elon but I can't find them on either team's site. I wonder how many times Wolford was pressured as well. They gave up 3 sacks to Elon. Thats not a good start. They can be better than last year when they gave up 45 sacks, but that's yet to be seen against real competition.

To build on your point: Extrapolated for 12 games, that equals 36 sacks this season. Not a good start at all, Elon should be the worst defense Wake faces. Our front 7 may be feasting on raw QB Saturday. Wolford will need his running skills against Shafer/Bullough blitz schemes. They gave up 3 sacks to Elon. Thats not a good start. orange_in_VA said:I can't find it either, but I just noticed something else looking at their rushing stats. Their numbers are inflated due to Wolfords one 70 yd TD run. They averaged 4.8 yds per rush as a group (Wolford inflated it with 9.0 yds per rush) against Elon. Also 1 rushing TD by the RBs. Take out Wolfords run, they averaged 4.4 yds per rush, again, against Elon. If you take out runs from the backup QB Hinton, the RBs on the team only averaged 4.0 yds per rush, against Elon. Wake's defense was also unable to get 1 sack against Elon.
Saw that as well. Shanker predicted a 17-3 Wake win. 3 points!?!?! What a dink!C'mon! I just read ESPN and watched their bloggers pimp Wake Forest's O! There has to be some sort of mistake. They are on the rise and we just lost our starting QB and playing a true freshman from Oregon! And that D!?! Top 40!
Three points, must be the home field advantage... (sarcasm off).Saw that as well. Shanker predicted a 17-3 Wake win. 3 points!?!?! What a dink!
