He’s not wrong, although he gambles too much on D and got beat a few times in his limited time on the floor

Not true we have the transfer who plays good defense and hustles, and kid from AUS who they dont play. Early in the year they played so the other guys could “gas out”…JJ has one of the lowest basketball IQ’s I have seen, poor shots, turnovers and really no feel. Always thought he would get better each year but strangely has gone backwards each year.

Defense and rebounding is effort and when a team is done for the year and checked out that is the first that goes.

That’s what’ll be lost in all of this, every single team got worse as the year wore on. That’s an indictment on red. Beating Tennessee, competing with Houston and Kansas, decent defense in the non-con were good things to see and proved there was talent. The problem was red actively made players worse

This is the correct read.

Talent wise, we were not only in the same neighborhood with those teams, we were on the same street.
