Good point, when I saw the push I looked at the closest ref and he didnt even flinch for the flag so I thought we were good but as you noted the ref 10+ yards away threw it, really a crushing blow.

If he is still in bounds then he is fair game. It would be easier to accept if Lyn drilled him and then he fell and rolled over (he should have got an academy award btw). All Lyn did was put his hands on him and gavea push out of bounds. I was irrate after the call.

Yea, but its a still of his hands on him. The other thread has a still where he actually gives him the push and he is out of bounds. That's a tough 50/50 call which is probably more often called when it involves the QB.
