Look, I’m definitely not a huge Souare fan, but that being said, I thought he has been serviceable of late. I’ll go as far as saying, I think he was playing his best basketball in a Cuse uniform. Now, if he wasn’t able to go, disregard this…
How do you go from subbing him in every under 16min timeout, to not playing at all? At the very least he’s a bigger body that could have got in the way of their bigs, who were destroying us.
Obviously, plenty to critique sub-wise (yesterday more than ever), as we know. But this seemed very weird…

I was wondering why he got no run, too. Sadiq can generate some offense, but Soare is better defensively and a better rebounder. I'm guessing he was probably sick.

I mean the one dude hasn’t played in like 3 games, got 1 min against tech, played over half the first half and never saw the court again
Bizarre. I know people want to say he plays ok defense, but the offense is at a standstill with Zephir at POINT GUARD. He is absolutely not a pg

Or, AA benched him or some reason.
Or, one of AA's crazy substitution patterns.
Must be still upset Souare launched that three point attempt. I like that Sadiq got some run, but I think Donnie is more effective at the 4 and not the 5.

I think the best lineup up top is Kyle, flanked by Donnie and Betsey. Subs being Souare and Sadiq.

Sit JJ, and see what Nait and Nate can do. Bring in JJ and Kiyan for subs.

Nine guys. Keep them all fresh.

But, we know Red would never sit JJ.

And yet he did a better job calming things down and letting other guys run the offense effectively and much better on defense than Nait or JJ last night. Then he didn’t play again.

The thing is, Red doesn't know how to use Donnie as a 4 in his offense. He would wind up standing on the perimeter waiting for a pass to shoot a three.

In Red's offense, the 5 is the high screener. That's where Donnie should be.
