Yes, they could just put a few stakes in the ground and call it a day. But if you have trusses you might as well spend a little extra on drywall to expand the concourses, no? I'm going to keep dreaming about a 3rd concourse until someone comes in here and says the dream is dead.

3rd concourse solves a ton of problems of concessions and crowding and could serve as structural support for the new roof. I would also recommend a mezzanine hall where the 3rd level comes out into the 2nd concourse only providing additional exits/maybe bathrooms stacked above existing. a ton of that mech equipment moves when the dome needs no air support.

When my wife was in nursing school at Crouse, she served a patient water in one of these. She wondered why the guy had a horrified look on his face.
