by process of checking the schedule page here you will see we are scheduled for a conference game to start next season and after cross checking it with fbschedules.com site for other acc schools in the opening week, good news is we will be home to start and also good news we are opening vs Louisville. Miami is only other team without a game scheduled for that week but there lacking a fcs game and they don't play us or Louisville.


so this is your likely early season cuse football schedule:
9/3 vs Louisville
9/10 @Uconn
9/17 vs Purdue
9/24 vs Wagner
10/1 vs Notre Dame * either 10/1 or 11/19 for ND would make sense to be at our house on october 1st

because we are getting a break to host them next year when they could of had us go there again since its not there fault our home games were at metlife back in the early agreement and we host them again in 2029
 
We should definitely go 3-1 OOC. I haven’t watched Purdue at all this year but I know they blew out UCONN and played ND fairly close (14 points). That will be the wild card. The ND game in the Dome will be exciting, definitely circling that one.

Purdue is going to be borderline top 25 next year.

Ugh, I just hope we don’t go 2-2 OOC. ND is exciting and all, but we need dubs. Still can’t believe they beat Iowa.

We played them at “home”in 2014 and 2016.

We played them on the “road” in 2018.
We also played them on the road last year in 2020 when they were in the ACC.

We aren’t getting a break.
It was our turn to get a home game.

It is our fault our home games were at MetLife.
Dr. Gross signed a contract for that.
That is the definition of our fault.
The ACC did us a favor by letting us get our home from MetLife by playing Nd in 2014 and 2016.

What you are saying is just untrue it wouldn’t have taken till 2029 for us to get a 3rd game at home.

Notre Dame plays 5 of 14 every year.
That means it would take 3 years to play every team.

That deal started in 2014.
We stupidly wasted our first two home games.
Then the next game was in 2018 at SB in NYC as ND’s choice.

2020 was in SB.

So the next game should be our home game and it’s in 2022.

We are getting no break whatsoever.
It’s our turn at home. We are just lucky we aren’t selling the game for money.

We shouldn’t be playing at SB in consecutive years.
We should play them every 2 or 3 years.
 
Don’t mean to derail this thread but I wish ND would just join the ACC fully or not at all. Their special treatment, especially last season, is annoying.

the 2020 games are pandemic related and are not factored into the schedule for other years

I don’t know what that is. We went to the Fine Mess tailgate two weeks ago and are getting ST next year. Do you mean make a donation to the forum?
