It's not about optimism alone. This team has the talent to win it all, but they need to develop their chemistry & learn how to set the pace in games like this.

2003 'Melo led Syracuse was beaten vs. Memphis at MSG early on in that season, so you can't take much from a loss like this.

We don't have a 'Melo, but neither does any other team in College Basketball, & this team has more overall talent than our 2003 squad.

I like the thought but I think this team will be in for a bumpy ride. This team isn't 09-10 or 11-12. It's more like 10-11. There are players on this team who will someday be on a great team but I don't think it will be this year.

Yeah but we beat Canisius by what, 25? And I think they're 9-2 on the year.
