not that Lunardi is the end all be all and also the committee doesn't even follow an S-curve but in today's edition Joe had SU as #13 on his S curve, or strongest #4 seed. To drop to a 6 seed they would have to fall at least 8 more spots to #21

Yeah. it can happen, especially if we lose to Depaul and whoever the 12/13 seed is (Rutgers or Seton Hall maybe?), but I think the realistic worst case scenario is we lose to Lville and Gtown, and beat Depaul, the 12/13, and then lose in the BET to say Pitt.

We definitely haven't played well lately, but we really haven't eaten any bad losses. We just lost our first home game of the year, to a top 3 seed tpye in Gtown. We lost @Uconn, who would be a tournament team, @Marquette, who is a top 4 or 5 seed, @Pitt (ditt0), and @Nova (who is probably going to be a tournament team). It's not going to destroy our profile.

Edited: Wanted to also add that I think the committee is going to look at this stretch differently than fans like us who live and die with the team. They are more likely to see a team going through a tough stretch against some good teams (assuming we stabilize somewhat, of course) as opposed to an overrated team with fatal flaws that will keep it from winning more than a game in the tournament)

I think we should just forfeit the season. We obviously have no chance. It is pure luck that we have won 22 games. We have lost to bad teams. Our players are horrible people and players. Our coach is incapable of rallying of the troops. If by some miracle we do get in the tournament, we will be playing in Dayton on Tuesday night.

Many of you write as if we are in a complete tailspin or something. Talking of losing to DePaul. Come on. We had a stinker on Saturday and our play has not been remotely up to par as of late but we easily could've won Monday. Step back from the ledge. Man, it's as if many of you have never been through this before.
