The Syracuse football program has grown by 12 student-athletes this morning, as 10 high school seniors have joined quarterback Ashton Broyld and linebacker Myles Davis in the newest Orange football class. The group includes offensive linemen Ben Barrett, Jason Emerich and Kyle Knapp, defensive linemen Marcus Coleman, Myles Hilliard and Josh Manley, running back George Morris, tight end Josh Parris, wide receiver Alvin Cornelius and safety Dontez Ford.

I know what you're saying, but honestly, what does it matter? The staff wanted him, and got him. I don't care if they call him a Ballerina or Baton Twirler as long as they think he can contribute and he signed a LOI for SU. The rest is semantics.

I agree mostly. Just wondering what their thinking is. His game and his size seem much more like a prototypical DE to me is all.

My guess is either a typo, a mistake, or some sort of apathy on the part of whomever entered the information. And that's the last iota of thought I'll put into it. But we'll know they're paying attention if someone gets listed as Lead Violinist.
