Practice starting early sounds good, but it just teases us longer til the real season starts. I guess that means time for more "who starts" threads

I think we know what we have with most players. I hear Roberson is REALLY good. He is not disappointing, and perhaps surprising. Would not be surprised to see him work his way into top seven.

Big men are going to gave to play well because we are too deep to our up with mediocre play.

Oh word? I don't care if Rak plays a minute at 4. If we have 3 centers that play to Keita's energy, each within their own respective skillset, we will win and win big.

Muy bueno. IMO he has the highest ceiling of our shooting guards. Cooney could develop but based on Canada I have my doubts for this year. He is decent on his drives and other facets of the game but he takes too many rushed jumpers. Without time and space his percentages are lower than I would like to see on a championship caliber team. MG does not have the mentality to become a consistent scorer. Patterson is not ready for big minutes. Perhaps, the team's destiny lies on BJ's teenage shoulders. He seems to be the only 2 guard that could provide consistent scoring punch.

While it is true that good D is something that we will bring every night, from time to time, despite good D, the other team gets hot. We will need lots of scoring punch to win those games.

I think the 2G is the biggest question mark on the team, but I really like Cooney, BJ and MikeG one of them will separate.

No disrespect to the other guys, but BJ's confidence....man, this either fires Cooney up or BJ comes on. Silent G, I like his handle and he will get minutes just because he really might be our next best dribbler, but I want to see him assert himself.

As jordoo says, one will separate. Can't have every position All American, and as long as they get it done, this won't hold us back. We will have plenty of scoring options.

I honestly hope he meets every expectation you have, if he does we're even better than I think we are and that's saying a lot as I think we're an obvious contender for the NC.

You'd be surprised. A while back, in a lineup thread, a lot of people left him out of the mix. I don't think predictions of him getting less than 10 minutes is accurate, is all. And many predicted this.
