"Gift", my azz! We TOOK this game w/ clutch play and hustle. Last year's team gets blown out. Love the GRIT on this team!! LGOWow what a win!! Ill take it and send them a Christmas card for our gift.
I agree and they fell apart at the end of the game."Gift", my azz! We TOOK this game w/ clutch play and hustle. Last year's team gets blown out. Love the GRIT on this team!! LGO
I thought we looked like the better team for most of it, but the officiating/foul situation got us out of sorts.
We just have more heart and guts than Georgetown is what it boils down to.
Michael Stevens was pro SU today typically it’s the other way.Refs weren't bad, considering Michael Stevens was out there. And we got a huge break on the charge call MD drew.
How could you forget brains? Shame on you.We just have more heart and guts than Georgetown is what it boils down to.
Losing Dickerson with more than 5 minutes left was huge for us. I can't believe Ewing didn't sit him for a couple of minutes after he picked up his fourth.Georgetown had no leadership in the last 10 min and the OT. None. It seems the press rattled them, even when the scored against it.

Yes.He's not my favorite guy out there. Wasn't he one of the team that flagrantly boned us against Villanova a few years back?
Yes.
He typically bones us. This game for some reason he was giving us breaks.
His charge call on the Gtown Big that fouled him out was a huge momentum play for us.
I didn’t see Ewing working him but I bet he was.Was Ewing working him? I only saw the second half. And anyway, Stevens owed us at least one.
If the team had quit, then we would have had no business winning this game. However, Cuse never gave up and played hard till the final whistle.
