We have the best walkons in the country

"Kid's a dick" isn't exactly respectful. Maybe we were brought up differently.

I don't have a problem with saying someone is a problem child, but calling him a "dick" isn't really a mature way of saying he has an attitude issue. That's all I was saying. And the way he threw it in there, it certainly sounded to me like he has had a personal interaction that didn't go so well. Whether it's known around campus that he's a jerk or not.
Well, seeing someone pour a full drink on a girl kind of makes me think the kid's a dick. I don't know, you tell me. I've never talked to him personally. Don't care to.

"BNoro" who do you think you are calling Reese a "dick" ? You don't even know the kid. What you guys base your looks on some walK-ons are a final two minutes of a game. You have to remember walk-ons sit on a bench for 28 minutes or so and are ice-cold when they are called on.

None of you have any idea of what goes on in practice. Reese makes this team better by being fast enough and knowledgeable to play defense and challenge some of these guys. Think about the press that we have established this year, which a part of the success goes to Reese for defending these guys in practice. Don't assume things you guys don't know and haven't seen what goes on behind the scenes.

All of what I've kept is 100% true.

Doesn't mean Reese isn't a dick.

That opinion is based on off-the-court stuff. We have a bit more access to it, since we are students.

Congrats on being students, and thank you for your perspective. But honestly, people do stupid things in college. I did my share, pretty sure most have too.

Not condoning what has been said at all, sounds like the kid made a mistake in judgement, but 18-22 year olds have done a LOT worse than dumping beer on a girl's head. A LOT worse.

I dumped a pitcher over a girls head in Romans in '96. The bar was shoulder to shoulder and she burned my freaking neck with her cigarette. I said, "put out the cig, you just burned me". She went with "**k off". Next thing ya know I'm being tossed into the street and she had about a 32 oz. shower

That doesn't mean it doesn't shape the personal opinion bnoro and I share of the kid. Sure, people have done worse. I'm just not sure that that's relevant in this situation. Witnessing something like that and seeing his demeanor that night and around campus makes us feel a certain way. Maybe the term 'dick' wasn't kosher for this board, but I consider it calling a spade a spade.

Why are people so offended if someone is called a dick? We got some inside info here, id love to hear some more "reese is a dick" stories, students are there any others??

You can still get a scholarship at D-2, though. D3 have better academics, by and large, however. So a person has to weigh going to, say , Williams and getting a great, though expensive, education vs. getting a free ride at Division 2 Southern Indiana.

You're 100% correct I was just more equating low D1 vs D2. If you can get scholies at either, you'd choose the school you like more for whatever reason.

There are alot of great D3 schools and they likely choose to stay there to keep academics the priority.

I've heard that Reese is an ahole too, from various friends on campus.

On topic: I've always thought that Matt T. could play D1 ball somewhere, he's got the frame, and can shoot a little too.
