I have some family members who are NW grads and follow the team. According to them they are very young on D with a new secondary and they are pretty light up front. In doing minimal research it looks as if they had a horrible D last year and things dont look that much better for them this year.

With the exception of a couple years when Walker was head coach, NW's defense has been pretty abysmal. They have had to rely on their spread WVU-style offense to win for years.
