I love the renovated dome and am going to savor that first day football game played on a hot, humid day, where I sit in my seat and enjoy the game in wonderful AC. Syracuse fans will be the only big time college football fans to enjoy perfect viewing conditions for every game. That is pretty damned cool.

But the moment I am anticipating the most is not that day. It is the first night game for football, and then for basketball, when the team takes the field/court for the first time.

Hopefully in darkness.

We have the ability for football and basketball night games to do some special things we never could before. I hope and pray we take advantage of the new lighting, the new sound system and the new scoreboards, and roll out the best team introductions in college sports.

That should be the goal. There is no reason it can’t happen. WE CAN DO THIS. LET’S DO THIS!

I’ve accepted that music at the dome shouldn’t be geared to me. Let them play whatever the college kids like.

I do appreciate that people eat-up the big intro spectacle stuff. I hope the University gets it right and takes advantage of the new lighting and sound system. Personally, that stuff doesn’t do much for me. Even as a young teenager, I thought the Chicago Bulls “Sirius” intro was corny.

They should do weekly fundraisers where the fans vote with their wallets for which uniforms the team should wear, and let the fans bid to control the Dome music.

Judging from the volume of posts on here every year on those subjects, the Athletic Department would make a killing!

Does anyone know what lighting brand we went with, after moving on from Ephesus? Might shed some "light" on any light show capability. I'm guessing these are lighting bars for any introductions, or lighting plans they have to enhance the game day experience. (Under both the translucent and Metal)

Thanks. I was able to verify on IG that the dome can glow orange on the inside. Saw some blue, as well.(we have RGB) Musco did BC Place. I'm guessing we'll be at this level, at a minimum. Appears they did Alabama(previously posted) , as well.
