I totally agree. Normally the speedier team is disadvantaged by inclement weather. So I tried to break it down by offense/defense. I think the rain will negate (somewhat) Miami's speed advantage, especially in the passing game. But we rely on passing too, perhaps even more than Miami. And unlike Miami, we don't have an established running game (it's improving, but ...). So I think rain/nasty conditions hurt our hurry up O.I find it ironic it's almost unanimous (not directing at you) that rain would hurt Syracuse more. Typically, it's the team that has a speed DISadvantage that is hoping for bad conditions to help negate the other teams speed. I think everybody would agree Miami is the more talented team, with the better speed, so I think it could actually help us. This isn't like last year vs WF when it worked against us. As long as it's not windy I don't think the rain will hurt us. It could probably even help us defensively.
Just my take. The weather, along with the effects of weather on a football game, are pretty much guesswork anyway. So I'm not upset if you think I'm all wet.
