Week 10 ACC/FBS Games for Oct 31- Nov 4

Johnson with 250+ and 4 touchdowns.

We ran for 0 a week ago and threw for 37 today.

Some great games today. It’s basically impossible to be an inept as Syracuse has been for a month.
This is what I keep saying to myself watching the Cuse. It’s nearly impossible to be as bad as we are, yet, we are. I mean, it’s really freaking hard to be as bad as we’ve been. I’m willing to bet that numerous G5 schools could’ve moved the ball better than we have these past five games. Numerous schools are able to field a cohesive O line, competent QBs, and receivers who can run and catch. We are so, so bad, we make the impossible possible. It’s nuts. I still can’t understand it.

Sheduer has 11 completions for 41 yards.

55 total yards in the first half.

Brilliant offensive move Coach Prime.
I love watching them crash and burn. Especially after sidelining Lewis. Deion is a clown. Its like if we let Weitsman coach the basketball team. All about celebrities on the sidelines and performative bs.

Dino does the seemingly impossible! Extend him!

Hell yes

Just as last week, the SU game put me into such a depressed mood that watching well-functioning football teams just increased the depression.
I've been so depressed I tried to avoid all games today. It just seems we don’t belong in the category of major college football.

I enjoyed the show early in the season. Deion is a great anti-hero. So when CU was winning and he was doing his thing, it was very entertaining.

However, once they stopped winning the whole schtick started to get annoying quick. Heels are only interesting when they win. That’s why Ric Flair was the best.

If he doesn’t start winning 9+ by next year or mayyyybe the year after, I think the show ends.

The schtick don’t work for a .500 program and Coach Prime ain’t sticking around to grind out Camping World Bowl berths.

Alabama and LSU’s quarterbacks are from another world. Their speed and power are amazing.
Melrose was benched a few weeks ago. He’s not the great in the grand scheme. Had a great game though.

Pray tell, whoever are you referring to?

On a serious note, you have always been pretty even keeled and level headed about Dino so when you are hammering Dino and ready to move on, that says a lot. Who would you like to see get the job, Ano?
Yea i was fine with him until this year. Just can’t do it anymore with the penalties, game management, and overall lack of discipline. Not to mention he never once has publicly taken accountability.

1. Tom Herman
2. Ja’Juan Seiders - Off coach, ace recruiter. NE and Fla ties
3. Bob Chesney
4. Curt Cignetti
5. Dan Mullen - Would be #1 but doesn’t like to recruit which we need here
6. Garret Riley - No ties but god gives us what the Dome was made for - Air Raid
7. Brian Hartline
8. Sean Lewis - Seems much more feasible now.
9. Phil Longo
10. Doug Marrone - Would easily be my #1 choice if he wanted the job

Or the possible impossible.

I usually do this at the end of seasons but one comparison I like to make is something I call "point differential rankings". If you beat a team that lost only that game, tie a team that won all their other games, beat a team by more points than anyone else did or lose to a team that won all their games by the smallest margin, you get a '1' for that performance. If one team did better, you get a '2'. If two teams did better, you get a '3', etc. Then you add up the rankings and divide by the number of games to see your average rank against the opponents you played.

We were #1 vs. Colgate (we were their only FBS opponent
We were #1 vs. Western Michigan (Iowa beat them 41-10 and Mississippi State 41-28)
We were #5 vs. Purdue (Hey! they beat Virginia Tech and Illinois. Nobody else)
We were #3 vs. Army (They lost 0-62 to LSU, 16-29 to us)
We were #6 vs. Clemson (Charleston Southern and Florida Atlantic did worse)
We were #8 vs. North Carolina (Campbell did worse)
We were #8 vs. Florida State (Campbell did worse)
We were #9 vs. Virginia Tech (every one else they have played has done better)
We were #7 vs. Boston College (equal to Connecticut and, strangely, better than Georgia Tech)

That's 48 'ranking points' over 9 games = 5.33. We have bene between the 5th and 6th best team our opponents have played, on average. Vs. power conference opponents, it's 43 points in 6 games - 7.17. we've been between the 7th and 8th best opponents they've played.
