Week 10: Non-ACC Games

What’s sillier is trying to project a player now back to game 2. He wasn’t the same player. If we play Rutgers tomorrow do you think Shrader wouldn’t get any yardage? Do you think Tucker carries it 13 times for 54 yards? I think if we played Rutgers tomorrow we win something like 30-14.

My argument isn’t that he’s the same player, obviously he’s grown over the course of the season. My argument is even GS in his form as of week 2 gives us a better chance to beat Rutgers than Tommy did.

I don’t think so and that’s ok. Besides the BS refs and a couple of joke calls, the biggest mistake besides getting Tucker only 13 carries was Dino using a damn script for the QBs. After those first 3 series his pad told him it was Shraders turn. At the time Tommy was 7-8 and throwing peas. We had moved down to the 5 where instead of 1st and goal, the refs gave Rutgers the ball in a bogus fumble call. Another series we moved into Rutgers territory when a holding penalty set us back but we still got to the 38 and 4th down. Dino showed no faith in the offense nor defense and decided to punt from the 38. He should have scrapped that script instead of getting everything out of sync.

That’s fine, everybody isn’t always going to agree. Still don’t understand how that play was ruled a fumble. In the review you could clearly see Taj’s knee down with him having possession of the ball, mind boggling call.

The review was garbage. Why have reviews if you’re going to completely ignore them. As you said it was clear as day on the replay.

Tulsa is moronic. How do you not line up under center at the goal line? Deserved that loss.

Not only that, but on 3rd and Goal at the 1 yard line with under 1:00 to play, the Tulsa QB ran to the left and just needed to dive into the endzone, but instead he wimped-out and slid and came up 1/2 yd short.
