Week 15 FBS Conference Championship Games for Dec 6-7

FWIW - according to ESPN the WKU at Jacksonville game starts at 7PM EST. Wish they all started at 7PM EST Friday night.

It's a shame Ped State made it in and would rather had seen Indiana play Oregon.
Tell me about it - 7pm makes it 11am the next day, for me. Sure beats trying to get sane at 4am for noon starts (East coast U.S.)

UNLV offense got worse as the season went on.. Almost like the Go Go offense had issues. The play calling didn't mesh and once they lost the big play part it really struggled to move the chains.

The QB had accuracy issues, but Boise DBs played really well

Even with all that

had 48 yd FG that the kid was short on and hit the cross bard
UNLV had first down at the 3 went backwards and didn't kick the fg
had a 90 yd run down to the 5 and went backwards and didn't score
had first down at the 8 went backwards and didnt score

Neither QB played well but Jeanty is tough to tackle. Avg under 4 yds for 31 carries but had the huge run at the end of the first to change the game.

Their D is pretty solid.

These games were pretty bad. Hopefully today is better.

Jacksonville State was eligible? This is only their 2nd FBS season. Is that not the rule anymore? And I didn't even realize their game was on, not that it was worth watching.

I forgot the MWC CG was a home game. Same for the AAC, or that Army was home.

Kinda weird now that the B12 CG is in Dallas without Texas and OU. I know they still have 4 Texas schools but it doesn't feel right. Going back to KC would be nice but I think they need to go to a home game for the one seed. Will they even be at 1/2 capacity for this?

Really with the threat of your 2nd placed team winning the CCG and having that either knock you completely out of the playoffs or knocking your regular season champ out of the playoffs, it makes more sense for the ACC and B12 to have their one seed host the games going forward. Plus let's be honest the programs in these conferences are not big enough to fill an NFL stadium.

Can you imagine an ACC CG in the Dome in front of 41,500 people?

ESPN Gameday: "So is Florida State in?"
"Put them in. Put everyone in."

if the ACC game was between Su and BC how many would make it on a weeks notice in Dec?

Where? Charlotte? It would be empty. In Boston? With students around it would sell out. Maybe even without students. In Syracuse? It would sell out even without students around.
Thats what I was thinking as well. Great that the game is in NC when teams like UNC or Virg or Clem play

But if Cal makes it who would show up.

A home stadium helps. Not sure SU would figure out how to sell it out in a week but perhaps since that would imply a 10-11-12 win team.

Imagine a home ACC game then if they lost probably a home CFP game.

For STHs, a deposit for your seat that you can apply to the next season if we do not end up with the ACC CG.

So you only need to get about 8k in a week. I don't think that would be hard given the magnitude of the game.

They can figure out how to sell Sweet 16 for BBall in less than a week.

Stupid defense by the Iowa State safety on that 4th and 1. How can you not see that coming.

when was the last time we sold Sw 16 tickets in a week? those are sold months ahead

These games are worse than Syracuse Basketball

I thought Clemson had a chance to jump the B12 Champ for the 4 seed. Now there is no way.

But if Clemson does win their path could be Notre Dame and ASU to get to the Semis.
