On our team, I think center is the most difficult position to assess performance from stats. For good or bad, we haven’t been recruiting centers who are big scorers. And in the zone, our centers aren’t usually our big rebounders. We expect them to step up and challenge shooters while the forwards swoop in and clean up the glass. There’s no stat for altering shots that you don’t block.
