I'm not a fan of the guy at all. The pizza reviews I will watch but thats literally the only Barstool thing I have any use for

Barstool employs a lot of very talented people who produce some great content. So I don’t begrudge people who consume that content.

Portnoy, however, is a colossal PoS. His success over the past few years is yet another reason to lose all faith in humanity.

Weitsman reminds me of that quiet kid that no one really knows in school, that throws his birthday party at the super dope water park and invites everyone from class, but there's like a $10 bill in the invitation, and everyone comes and he thinks everyone in the class is his best friend now. Anyway, he's rich as hell and does a lot of charity, guys a hustler and I respect it.

I think Dave whether you like or not hasn’t changed 1% in the years he’s been doing this.

he’s on the same wave length as early stern. Shock guy who makes me laugh. Prob says more about me than him but I can’t stop myself from laughing when he does something.

this weitsman guy is the stranger one. Buying his way to relevancy. Never ends well.

Scooch, what is your issue with Dave specifically? He's tacky, rude, obnoxious all those things but he's ultimately just an entertainer doing the lowest common denominator thing. Seems very similar to Howard Stern to me.

Here's my take on portnoy since nobody asked. Is he annoying sometimes? Yup. Do I agree with everything he says? Nope. Is some of his stuff in poor taste? Yup. But he brings a lot of light hearted fun and entertainment, even if it's not always entertaining to me, in a world where everything is so serious all the time. On top of that he's virtually self made, the American dream, and does a TON of charity work. He's ok in my book, even if I don't always agree with him.

Here's my take on portnoy since nobody asked. Is he annoying sometimes? Yup. Do I agree with everything he says? Nope. Is some of his stuff in poor taste? Yup. But he brings a lot of light hearted fun and entertainment, even if it's not always entertaining to me, in a world where everything is so serious all the time. On top of that he's virtually self made, the American dream, and does a TON of charity work. He's ok in my book, even if I don't always agree with him.

I remember him very early on when he was a gnat on the boston sports media landscape. He was totally an irritant to guys who took themselves wayyy too seriously and thought they were more important than anything. So for that I appreciate him tearing down that ridiculous wall of self importance in the Boston sports media.

Having said that, he's a clown. But he's never not thought of himself as anything but. Comedy is supposed to be uncomfortable and he's definitely stayed in that lane. I don't agree with some of his comedy but he's created a new form of media that pretty much every major company wants a piece of now. It's a testament really to him sticking with it.
