While most people are still working. Cool

Kiyan will bring a note to Gerry excusing him from all practices. It will be signed “Kiyan’s Mother/Father”

Perhaps Kiyan didn’t develop well because he had a poor HC.

Also it was well noted before Kiyan got here that he wasn’t a day 1 starter and a development piece. Give the kid some time.

Some cuse fans had too high expectations for this kid.

Wow, this is awesome.

This is the kind of stuff I expect from our Athletic Department!!!

This is a very good sign about our new Athletic Director. This helps build the fan base, get them excited AND build revenue.

Amazing
Yep but…….good sign here. They’re gonna need a bigger room I bet. Lots of folks wanna go

The time is bad. 6:00 would have been better

A part of me feels bad for Autry having to see all this fanfare and hype surrounding GMac at the expense of his firing, especially with this event. But the other part of me doesn't since he knew everything he had to do to avoid it all coming to this, but refused to address any of it.

This is certainly a positive indication for the new AD's tenure. Sow the seeds early for transfer recruiting as to how you'll be treated by the community if you come to Cuse and win.

I was kinda hoping this post wasn't that deep and was just a riff on the running "Signed, Epstein's Mother" joke from Welcome Back, Kotter.

I wasn’t dogging Kiyan, I just used him to make a Welcome Back Kotter joke ;)

Syracuse University will officially welcome Gerry McNamara back as its new men’s basketball coach with a public event on its campus on Monday afternoon.

The school will hold a speaking program in Miron Victory Court with comments from key individuals. It did not specify who the speakers would be.

Shortly afterward, McNamara will hold his first formal press conference as a head coach.

The event begins at 4 p.m. It will be live streamed on Cuse.com for those who can not attend.
