I just find it interesting that all this talk about those other two guys, yet the former player is saying that Kimble is the guy to watch for. Just found that interesting.

I would venture a guess that Rome has been at fall practices on campus and knows more than we do. Also Hunt was the best option last year wasn't he?

With Hunt injured and Long being a freshman, I assume he knows Kimble and Wilson better, both sophomores, and that it shows his personal preference between the two.

Mitch was the most impressive to my untrained eyes during the spring game.

The unfortunate part is that no one QB stands out above the rest in terms of the Sports Guy's "name" metric. Austin Wilson, Mitch Kimble, and AJ Long are all pretty good quarterback names.

EDIT: Of course the Sports Guy's name metric has probably been disproved as a real barometer since the guy with maybe the second best QB name of all-time (Joe Montana is the best), Colt McCoy, was godawful. Also, you can't become an awesome QB just because you have an awesome name.

He hasn't been with them for awhile now, but he was certainly with them during fall camp, yes. But he was cut in August.

Was it not stated earlier this year by Shafer or Lester, that Kimble had the best grasp of the playbook of all the back ups? Or knew all the the nuances of the offense. Is it crazy to think that we are all assuming Wilson Or Long and maybe we could end up seeing Mitch.
