Notre Dame had the game in the bag (eight point lead with barely a minute to go)... and they totally fall apart. Oh well, Ohio State is still undefeated

Lost their PG and self-destructed. Could this be us if Ennis ever fouls out in tight game? .. hopefully Mike G gets more comfortable taking over if necessary.

One of the biggest choke jobs I've ever seen. Just wow.Threw away 2 consecutive in bounds passes for quick OSU lay ups. Foul a 3 pt shooter. Out of control drives by Grant. Missed FT's. All in 50 seconds.

Yup almost have to admire the Domers snatching defeat from the jaws of victory like that. Takes dedication.

Let's see--ACC vs B1G in MSG.

Immediate bad news: the Midwesterners win (or ND blows it).

Longer term bad news: Crowd is apparently 90% OSU.

I think over the next few years, the ACC teams ought to make a concerted effort to fill the stands whenever they play at the Garden.

Irish fans only care about football because the university only cares about football. According to the Irish fans on their own message boards, ND's bb facilities are so bad they will never get a coach better than Brey until they upgrade them.

As for MSG, the ACC has three great drawers presently in Duke, SU, and UNC. Not sure any of the others will draw huge crowds. Pitt played Stanford at Barclays and that game drew a pitiful 4K on a Tuesday evening and played Cincy at MSG in front of 8K, again on a Tuesday evening, but that was a double-header with Florida and Memphis afterward.

Cheers,
Neil

Gosh, I do hate Aaron Craft. I respect him, but I hate him.

I remember at the end of last year he pretty much admitted he fouls all the time - kind of like UL when Pitino said as much about their press. Why stop if they won't call it - I guess you can respect him for that. Still, can't fathom how he fouls so blatantly without being called for anything.

I tried to find a link for the interview, but I couldn't find it.

I didnt even see the game and this saddens me. But the way I look at it, if we are that much better than ND, we'd have no worries against OSU, if that logic makes sense. Theyre in a league with tougher opponents(sorry ACC fans), they wont be undefeated long unless they truly are good.

I blame that idiot Bruce Pearl for all of this. Had Pearl not painted rocks for Tobias and shi$, Craft would be playing in Tennessee and we'd never hear of him. But that would just mean another slime ball taking his place.

Craft is by all accounts a terrific kid. Excellent student. Never been in trouble with the law. Allegedly very family/girlfriend oriented. Gives 100%. Has the beloved military angle. The hatred has to be a function of the reverse racism that inevitably occurs with white players who don't have Rex Chapman/Bobby Sura athleticism. The notion that they hate him b/c he gets away with fouls is a subconscious smokescreen for the jealous.

thanks chief, now we know

So why do you hate him?
Did you happen to see the play where he was being screened, pretended to be pushed, vaulted himself into the ball handler, acted like he'd just been whacked with a 2x4 and finally gave his most sincere "shocked" reaction at being called for a foul?
That's why I hate him.
Other players, off the top of my head, I can't stand: Shabazz Napier, Ryan Boatright, Smith-Rivera, Trauwick, the Harrison twins, Davonte Gardner...

Does it bother you that you "hate" or "can't stand" 19 and 20 year olds? They are just kids. Do you hate any of your friends' kids who are that age?

Technically if you're 19 or 20 you are no longer a kid, you're an adult.

oh snapp Poppy you just pwned me.
and I'm pretty sure Shabazz is at least 22 by now

kind of funny how quickly it went from reverse racism to an issue of age

I'm not trying to "pwn" you. I just don't understand hate. Sorry.
