For the biggest game in 10 yrs (as i said) - didn't even get a prediction at the end of College Gameday.

WOW.

They did Indiana-Maryland?!

I'm sure they all would have picked Notre Dame by multiple touchdowns.

earlier Herbie said it would be close.

ESPN has 2 articles up predicting... both said it would be close.

Although Heather Dnich did say something to the effect of: "syracuse lost a heartbreaker to maryland. They believe it was because of self inflicted wounds"

i def agree with many self inflicted wounds, but I'm not sure what the heartbreaker part was.

It's heartbreaking because statistically speaking SU should have won and we should be undefeated.

I didn't know that some, non SU fans, are thinking it will be a close game. Good to know they don't think 'Cuse are pushovers.

I was watching an ACC show earlier in the week while half asleep, and all 3 announcers said Syracuse could pull the upset in this game. Or I was dreaming. But pretty sure it happened that way.

When Herbie and Fowler are calling a game they never pick a winner for said game, can't show favoritism

I'd say WVU 2011, Lville 2012, and Missouri 2012 were bigger.

Bigger for the season. But none of those made ripples on the national scene prior to the upset.

Thats like saying Michigan-Ap state was a big game. It wasn't even a blip on the radar until after the fact.

Those 3 pale in comparison to the national exposure to tonight. By a very wide margin.

I didn't know there was anything that you could call sobering on a college football Saturday afternoon.

the heartbreaking part was moving the ball at will and only scoring 20 points imo
