A few people have said we still didn't know much about this team because Hunt didn't start during our first two losses, we had only beaten really bad teams since he took over, and were blown out by a national championship contender.

Now we've been blown out by a team with three losses. This isn't just having an inexperienced quarterback or subpar wide receivers either. We've been dominated at the line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball. Both of our strengths, running the ball and stopping the run, have been dominated. I think we have a much better idea of where we are after this one, and we're not very good.

Maybe we can still eek out three more wins and get to a bowl, but we have a lot of work to do before we sniff the top 25 again.

play 4-3 all year-
switch to a 3-4 for 1 stinking game = coach in over his head over thinking big time surrounded by friends who dont deserve the job

That could partly explain one side of the ball.

The other side of the ball is explained by a QB who can't throw and WRs who can't catch. Not really the OC's fault anymore IMO.

We would have lost this game with any defensive formation.

I disagree - if we had established the running game early and kept our D off of the field and scored early it would have played out differently. We got punched in the mouth today due to coaching on both sides of the ball, not just the 3-4.

Sure. Our o-line couldn't establish the run either. Add it all up and we're not a good team.

I was one of those that said that. Even if we scrape together 3 more wins and become bowl eligible I can safely say...we're not very good. Fortunately despite what others think the ACC is not really all that much better than the old Big East. Clemson and FSU are very good but the rest of the conference is a bunch of teams that can beat each other depending on the day. Ga Tech is not 56 points better than SU. They are better but much of the blame for today is on the coaches. Poorly prepared. Poor game plan. Our line talent is not as bad as shown today. You have to put players in positions which they can excel. We haven't. My only take away from today is that the rest of the year is playing out the string. I will cheer as hard as ever and look forward to a freshman QB next year be it redshirt or true.

We're losing 56 to nothing. Your gameplan would've caught up to us.

We just beat NC State. No way I see NC State pulling this debacle against Ga Tech. NC State also played Clemson competitively. Another game in which we lost in the 2nd quarter. Something's wrong in this picture.

schafer hired guys who he had a glorious past with-trying to relive the past never works just look at p& d

Let's see if HCSS has the ability to ax a close friend or will he be blindly loyal which will lead to a hasty demise.
