Disagree. It started with the availability, and anonymity, of social media. That just feed the political side. People make death threats against Presidents, Senators, etc. and get away with it, especially "B" and "C" list celebrities. Why would anyone care about basketball players being threatened?
Heck, look at what some people on here say about our own players.
