The Wolverines stared with three TDs in the first. In the second, they block a Punt (though the punter made a TD saving tackle), and then scored a fourth TD.

The following points stand pout:

1) Michigan watched game footage and realized their O-Line at matched up very favorably and are running all over the Broncos.
2) The Michigan passing game is weak, it's not that talent isn't there, it's that they are not connecting like a Michigan team should. Especially a Harbaugh coached team.
3) WMU needs to go pass crazy because they cannot run on the Wolverines.

I say the above because I think a HCDB team, like the one we have, could easily hang with Michigan. It would come down to the fourth and possibly the last possession, but the Orange would play well against this team.

A wild guess (sarcasm), but I think Michigan will expose WMU..something that we really didn't do. At least while Dungey sat.

I agree. At this point, HCDB already had TD in and getting experience, Harbaugh is not letting up or seeking to develop depth. That said, HCDB did the right thing, he was in control and used the opportunity to develop young players more than UM does. I think Harbaugh goes for 70 points to make up for the ND loss.

Despite all the WMU and Lester love all over this board in advance of and in the immediate aftermath of the Syracuse game, I wouldn't feel good about the Lester era if I was a WMU fan.

Mighigan's OL is a weakness of the team - particularly the tackles. For them to be going roughshod over WMU is concerning.

michigan will stand on the throttle full four on the floor detroit style.

First half of this game looks similar to ours vs WMU. We just didn't finish them off. It does also factor a little they are also playing at UM vs at home vs us. Overall about what I would have expected. We could have put 70 on them if we didn't let up.

Patterson still in the game at 35-0. I don't think Michigan is going to let up

I agree with the sentiment. I think HCDB was right to pull ED when he did. I think playing ED until halftime would have made a significant difference though. The offense could have used the time to make adjustments and prepare while denying WMU the opportunity to make accurate adjustments on defense.

Need to get those young guys a lot of run when the opportunity presents itself, though. Only way to get better is through game experience.

Wow, reading this thread it would seem WMU was in the game and Michigan sucks. 49-3, lol.
