I mean I guess if you think there is no way to recover from a showing like this then sure think 4-8 and accept it. Me on the other hand, I think we needed to get our nose punched like that. This team needed to realize that they aren’t given anything and people want it just as much if not more. Time to get to work and hustle for what you want.

I liked the support our guys gave TD. That was some consolation. He really had a decent game despite problems throwing on the run and finding open receivers. What I'm not sure we recover from is the gaping holes in our defense - the DL and the LB corps. We have some young, talented kids ... who have no idea where to be on the field. Armstrong is the only one with experience and he's not up to ACC level IMO. So we've been exposed, and we need to regroup and figure out how we're going to prevent this kind of disaster again - against EVEN BETTER teams than the one we just got drilled by.

Unfortunately, that is not new. On November 11, 2017 - Wake Forrest ran up 64 points against us in the Dome using the same formula. Given what I saw today, I'm concerned about every team on the schedule with the possible exception of HC.

I was once I saw all the competition play last week and mentioned that SU's SOS is going to be very strong. Every week is going to be a battle in ACC games.

I think we beat HC. I don't know anything about WM, but every ACC team is going to have a good QB, speedy WR's and fast RB's, along with film on how badly we got embarrassed today. 64 points and almost 650 yards. That's like 2 games of defensive stats for some of the teams on our schedule.

I mean if you expect us to stay at this level of defense throughout the year then sure think that way. But as early as 7 hours ago everyone was gushing over our defense. The defense will recover.

After Clemson, all the remaining games are winnable to varying degrees.

We should beat FSU. They’re losing at home to UL Monroe. By the time we play them they will have quit on the season.

It's not the fact that we lost, it's how we lost. If we play a tough game and lose 27-24, that's not a reason to freak out. We were completely and utterly dominated by 43 points.
