What are some of the positives around the program?

The program needs some optimism.

Instead of all this negativity which i contribute too.

What are some of the positive things around the program’s future?

Had Varsity Pizza and it’s still quite good. Fun time at the game and the weekend. Pee troughs still a nice touch!

Cuse

To me, it looks like he has just gotten up to speed. I'm interested to see what the coaches do with him going forward. I would think one thing he could do well would be to push the ball down the floor and kick it back to open 3 point shooters trailing the play and get them some open looks when the offense bogs down. I would defy anyone to keep up with him im the open court.
I like the positive spin on this thread. Thanks Alsacs! I really want to keep this positive and I agree Symir has good speed to push the ball down the floor. Ans after watching the game on Saturday, he shouls have no problem picking a trailing 3 point shooter since the only person in front of him going down the floor is Jesse. We need some quickness on the floor to gain advantage from Symir's speed.

Well, we have a coaching change coming in the near future no matter what. JB can’t coach forever. The program could decide to go internal, but with the ACC money and recent adddition Comcast to the ACCN boosting revenue more, they should have the budget to make 95% of coaches in America viable options.

Can I piggyback off of the is a bit?

What’s the ideal itinerary for a Cuse basketball game day?

Afternoon weekend game where you hit up Varsity before, hit the game, hit Marshall St? New hoodie, get some Molson Canadian?

He is so fast and quick. Only guy I can think of at SU that played guard in his speed class would be Johnny Flynn.

Bug Williams

No one could keep up with Bug particularly Kansas State.

In the trying to be positive thread… All our recent losses since Auburn and Nova have been very close. We could be 12-6 if we had just pulled out the games against Gtown, Wake and Florida State. Or even 13-5 if we’d pulled off the win vs Miami. Not saying we have a shot at making the tourney or anything, but some marked improvement from Benny and Sy and a little bit better of a defense could help us win some games going forward and at least stay a few games above .500.

What about Saturday's high noon showdown with Duke? What you got Sherm.

I really miss “get a pitcher at Chuck’s” being a part of this routine.
Me too. Bringing the kids nowadays wouldn't have worked too well with that I guess, so now it's grab a pitcher(unless I'm on my own) at Varsity with some slices.

That's essentially what I do now that it's only once a year. Quick run through Shirt World for whatever reason and then stroll down to Manny's. Finish up at Varsity and head up the hill.

There isn't any coaster trains on top of the Dome's new roof structure, so there can't be any train wrecks there as there are inside nowadays. :p:)

Hey, anything is possible. I wouldn’t bet on it, but every team in the ACC is beatable. I’d just be happy if we can pull off two wins against Pitt and Wake next week.

What are we, Stuart Smalley U? SMDH

What!!! A guy named Chugg can't handle a pitcher on his own.

Pitt is kind of tough, but we owe them a sweep from last year. The cheaters from Wake, need to go after them with vengeance. Duke, Orange got nothing to lose in that game and a lot to gain, and Duke doesn't look as scary as they did 6 weeks ago. A win at Duke would really taste great.

The bringing the kids part kind of prohibits that kind of behavior in mid 30s. If it's a trip with friends, then I'm still happy to indulge in that kind of thing.

If I can make a late generic addition - I think the pride that the former players have in the University really is second to none and something I really appreciate. Every time there's a Cuse game it seems like just about every former player that has twitter is commentating along on social media with the rest of us loonies. They're in recruits comments along with the rest of us, it's great to see. Maybe I have my orange shades on, but it seems like the love and support is unusual in comparison to other programs.
