What is the worst case expansion scenario...

...for the ACC? Assuming that no conference goes beyond 16.

To me, it would be:
- SEC nabs FSU and VT and WVU.
- Big10 gets off the pot and grabs Missouri, Kansas, Buttgers and UConn.
- ACC then is 2 short of 14, and 4 short of 16 with few options. (USF? L'Ville? Cincy? UCF?)

NC and Duke ARE the ACC. It really surprises me that a lot of you don't realize this.

I would say instead followed by the P12 adding Texas, OU, Okie St, and Texas Tech.

That would leave

B12 6 teams- ISU, Mizzou, KU, K St, TCU, Baylor
BE 6 teams- UL, Cincy, WV, RU, UConn, USF
ACC 7 teams- BC, SU, Pitt, Wake, Clemson, GA Tech, Miami
Indy 2 teams- BYU, ND

So from those 21 teams you would need to take 16, meaning 5 get left out. Best mix IMO would be...

ND/BYU, Mizzou/KU, TCU/Baylor, UConn/RU, SU/BC, Pitt/WV, GA Tech/Clemson, Miami/Louisville

Left out- ISU, K St, Wake, Cincy, USF
