I don’t personally find miked players or coaches to be compelling content, but I do enjoy the fun and loose atmosphere of modern all star games.

Mays probably would have been one of the few old time players open to the idea. Imagine some producer asking Ted Williams or Bob Gibson if they wanted to be mic'd up?
