What's Your Best 'Cuse Final Four Mojo?

I'm thinking quirky little traditions, anecdotes, songs, things that remind you of past runs... I graduated in '08, but I love all of the history, so I'm currently listening to Blahzay Blahzay - Danger, because we all know the real words... When the 'Cuse is in the house, oh my God, Danger!


By the way, I love how Boeheim ducks out of frame when the team starts dancing. Great timing on his part.

I'm also listening to the audio I have from the Syracuse/UNC game on 11/20/09 at the Garden when Matt Park dropped the epic, "Johnson, straight on, NBA three is PURE! Ha ha! And this place is up for grabs! It's the Orange by 17 on North! Freakin'! Carolina!"

Listening to a table of Texas fans who were absolutely aghast at the Hey Chant the day after the semi at brunch.

Meeting NYCFAN at a Thruway rest area on the way to the Auburn game...

I'm currently rocking an NHL style playoff beard. Didn't start as a Cuse tourney thing but we haven't lost since it started growing. We win the whole thing and I may end up looking like Gandalf hoping the mojo carries over to football season

Love it! When I got to the hill, they had just banned the band from playing it, but the student section still did it. I love when I'm at a Cuse bar and they play it after we win. Hopefully it rings out in Houston on Saturday and Monday.

Sweet! Although, maybe you're better off hoping it carries over to next hoops season...

I was so sick from the day after Selection Sunday to Thursday of the tourney that I didn't fill out a bracket this year. After we made it to the Sweet 16, I said that if we won it all I may never be allowed to fill out a bracket again. I'm wondering if making the Final Four means no bracket next year. Can I get a ruling?

That's the way to do it! I've been out sick since before the tournament, but I've actually been sick with some damn virus that's going around that takes 2-3 weeks to shake.

Admittedly I couldn't catch the Dayton game, but against MTSU i was too lazy to change into a SU shirt before going to the bar. When we played the zags i decided i wouldn't wear an SU shirt that day either, just to see how it would work out. Now against UVA I thought maybe this really is a trend.

I'm now petrified to wear a Syracuse shirt for the game on Saturday. Making matters worse, my wife is a tar heel alum who will be decked out in UNC gear at the stadium. If I don't wear a Syracuse shirt people might think i went to UNC instead of SU... but if I do wear an SU shirt, does the streak end?

I usually raise an SU flag on my flagpole before football games and basketball play-off games. I forgot to do it this year for both the men's or women's play-off games.

Bottom line: the damn flag will remain on a shelf in my garage! (I may have to re-think plans to fly it for football games pending the outcomes of this weekend's games.)

I bought a Pearl shirt like the players wear and havent washed it since I wore it in St Louis. Its all stained up but I dont care

I think you're right, I'm going to have to suck it up and just not wear a syracuse t-shirt. I wish I at least had an orange shirt!
