you can see the quickness and running ability are there.. relax and make plays.. nice to see him make a nice catch and run on the last TD drive.. the more he plays the better he will be..

Much like Butler.. when he has the ball in his hands there is talent we need to be using.. just needs to hang on to it.. His playing more with Custis injured is going to help us down the road if Custis comes back soon.

You can add Pierre and Riley to that list - need to make the catch and/or keep control of the ball. There is talent there.

But... Pierre fumbled his last touch and hasn’t seen a rush the following seven quarters.

And Riley dropped a gimme.

Talent is only as good as execution. And those two have committed sins the past two games respectfully.

Yes, obviously.
And these are all Babers' recruits. ... who have some skills but need to focus on the basics of ball control. Butler and Johnson have the opportunity to make a difference for this team.

Rileys issue is strength not skills.

I suspect the Pierre and Johnson is more nerves and game speed issues.

Butler so far seems concentration, but when get gets the ball in his hands he has shown play making ability. that pass play looked like Kevin Johnson. We can only hope.

Glimpses from a young set of skill players, we have several more RS and others on the way.. Thats already a more elevated set of play makers than we had just a few years ago.

That Pierre fumble is killer. He’s avg the most per attempt, outside of Dungey. But he has to earn their trust back.

No matter - we won’t be running a lot vs NC State.

He came in later in that game and had a carry I thought.
