Don't know of one going back to 1980, anyone remember a team that was this bad?

2001-02 was pretty bad. But I don't think it was this bad. Maybe 1996-97.

I'm gonna throw this out there and it's going to hurt to say it. The only ACC games we might win will be the two against BC.

We haven't had a losing season in what, 40 years? Assuming we lose this game and beat Cornell. We'd be 7-5. If we finish 7-11 or worse in the ACC, we'd finish with a losing record.

Anyone else think Boeheim retires before he can have his first losing season?

2002 won the preseason NIT, and won 9 Big East games and 23 overall. This team will come nowhere near any of that.

Yeah this is completely unprecedented in the JB era. Our "bad" teams are close to the bubble. This is the worst team in 40+ years by a significant margin

It's either the 1981-82 season when we went 16-13 or Roy Danforth's second year in 1970 when we went 12-12.
Was just going to mention the 81-82 team. Bad things happened at the BET that year too.

We're not beating BC. They are much improved from last year.

I'd say not since 81-82 as others have mentioned.

1997 was 1 win away from making the tourney. We're nowhere in the stratosphere of that.

And that was 1 win away with a Todd Burgan 7 game suspension.

Our Walk-On All Star team composed of players from the past 15 years might beat this team.

Losing to DePaul sucked, but they just couldn't miss that game and SU had some good wins that season. This the fifth game in a row against a non-cupcake where the team looks like they've never played organized basketball.

The 16-13 team lost games they shouldn't have.
But they beat G-town and Purdue.
And gave a 26-2 DePaul team all they could handle.
They had some talent: Rautins, Santifer, Bruin,Waldron, Kerins.

This year's team is the worst SU team in the Boeheim era...BY FAR.
