Where Are You Alin Eduard?

Exactly. If his eligibility clock is running is running its not good for anybody. He'll be burning a redshirt year while not even in the program learning anything, studying film, working out, nutrition etc. it's really a shame.

I'm in the camp that believes he ends up at fiu, fau etc whichever one is down there in south florida. Though him ending up at either UCF,or USf wouldn't surprise me either.

I believe even though he is at home in south florida, he has the playbook and is studying it and seems like he is planning on arriving in january

Was told several weeks ago by a source that they doubt he ever steps foot on campus again. At this point I dont expect he will ever make it back.

This has been my feeling all along.

And even if does show up, it would only be a matter of time before he transferred.

There's a lot going on with this kid.

We probably need to move on.

Agreed. To late in the recruiting season now to grab a QB and with Kimble, Wilson and Long all Frosh in some variety we can afford to take this year off. I suspect we will take two next year though.

with 2/5s of our starting OL out and estime still nicked I'm assuming since he only played 18 snaps

Understood. But, those were also the circumstances Hunt was operating under.

It will be interesting to see how they look at CMU.

Hope what I heard was wrong but the longer this drags out the less chance he makes it back.
Well, it doesn't matter until December/January or the start of the summer session. He could enroll anywhere since 2014 could be considered his redshirt & transfer year. Unfortunately, there are lots of schools closer to home for him to (re-)consider.

I was really impressed with that video that was put out on him working on taking snaps and moving forward, backward and left to right. The kid looked super quick. I will cry myself to sleep when I officially hear he is going elsewhere. Whatever happens, I wish the kid happiness. Sounds like him and his family have had an uphill battle.

Yeah, I think that is a reasonable assumption. However, I think the bigger issue is that this O's efficiency was so dependent on the performance of 1 player against an FCS team.
Long is not going to see the field this year. If anything, they develop more packages for Wilson. I doubt Long see the field until he's a junior or senior.

As much as I would like AE to return, if he does not we cannot hold it against him. Having him here against his wishes would be more disastrous for Syracuse and for AE. I trust his family will help him sort out his issues.

Long ain't ready and based on his arm strength shown in practices how could anyone say he's an ACC caliber QB? Alin is the future if he wants it but wish him the best if he chooses something closer to home. South Florida to Cuse can't be an easy transition.

Is his arm really that weak? How can the kid be rated 4 stars and not even have P5 arm strength. Really further calls into question the reliability of the recruiting services.

Except for the fact that QB is arguably the most important position of any of the 3 major American sports

Even though Hunt was pretty poor against an FCS opponent and then made a pretty bad decision after his poor start, I am still expecting a solid season from him on the field and an excellent season from a leadership perspective

we are 1-0 dammit!!!! :)

Your last paragraph is gold, pure gold Jerry!!!

Even though the ice cube started to melt in subzero temperature and then kicked the freezer door open to let the warm air in, Im still expecting the ice cube to not only, not melt in the sunlight...but to freeze the water in the glass with it.

Not only are we going to Central Michigan, Syracusefan, we're going to Maryland and Notre Dame and Louisville and Florida St and Wake forest!! We're going to Clemson and NCState and Duke!! And we're going to Pittsburgh and Boston College!! And then we're going to Washington, D.C. to take back the White House, Yeeeeeaaaaaah!"

I've always had more success with honey than vinegar, but I am probably doing it wrong.

Apparently, other than a RS Fr, Hunt is all we got and for the most part he has been a great kid to root for, so root I am going to dammit.

Supporting my school isn't like picking stocks... I can be unabashedly optimistic and have more fun because of it

Hunt wasn't poor against Villanova he was ok

Hunt didn't get much of a chance to show his stuff against Nova. 10 pts in three possessions and had us at their 35 yard line before showing us his boxing stuff was pretty decent however. I maintain that we would have won by 14-17 pts if he hadn't gotten tossed

Great news if it happens but I'm skeptical. Not to mention, the NCAA won't like this. He has a playbook and now he isn't even inrolling until January? I believe there are rules against High school seniors getting playbooks and if that is the case, then how would this be different? And if he already took some form of classes while he was out here? I'm just skeptical that he will start fresh in January if he indeed does come back.
