Where is the help D?

True. Not sold he will be in the rotation though.

LOL WUT??

Soooo, Dry Rub for 40 a game at C??
Yeah, that ain't happenin, for any number of reasons.

Assuming McLeod has 2 functional legs, he's gonna be the backup C.
Period, full stop.

Red ain't gonna be backing up Eddie with a small-ball dude like Donnie, Petar, or Jyare, except in "break glass in case of emergency" situations.

Love the pieces… but curious what the strategy is in D. Much like last year the initial pressure in D is good, but if the opponent can get by his man they repeatedly got an open lane to the hoop. Where is the help D coming from?
Sounds like they're aware of that from the postgame. First step in correcting it.

I think he will. First half he was at the scorers table then came back out. That was his first game action in 10 months and he did start to settle in after a few minutes of being pretty useless out there. When he was out there Clarion hesitated a lot inside and their offense other than a couple of times really bogged down. He wasn’t doing anything but being a presence and moving decent enough for a guy just getting back. Which is all we need. 10 minutes a game where he can force teams to deal with his presence around the rim as a chess piece for Red.

Donnie I think will get there as a rim protector but not right away or at least not consistently right away given he is still learning.

Other than that gotta keep people in front of us.

Sure but they said the same thing last year and it never got fixed. Anyways… I don’t have any real bones to pick here. Coach has done a great job of assembling a lot of good pieces and I’m excited to see the fully baked cake. But I am a scooch worried that I am seeing some of the same issues year over year with a pretty different roster.

Very true, unless the other team has a smaller quick 5 or stays outside a lot and can shoot that Eddie struggles with.
