Just posted about this on the recruiting side. Whether they've hired someone or looking to hire someone, it wouldn't be the worst thing to pluck a young hungry kid from the ODU staff or someone looking to bail a sinking ship at UVA.

If I had to guess, I'd bet that it's Eric White and Cole Dial reaching out to the cream of the crop recruits in a given region. We'll probably see something similar for other recruiting areas.

Reed was responsible for DMV area, but not sure who this is. These are the no brainers the staff identified early. Almost all of these kids are elite national recruits so it's not like there is much digging being done. Sure the recruiting process is just starting...and ending for most of them

Unless you know everything that a coach values, don't bake the "lateral" assumption into the question. It wouldn't be a lateral for some people.
