Some guys we think of not having much success in the NBA actually ahd fairly long careers and did quite well.

That is a really interesting list. Melo at #1 is a no-brainer, but after that the list was full of surprises for me in terms of who earned what and how they stacked up against each other. I guess I really had no idea beyond the contract number that gets thrown out in the press when a guy is drafted or signs a new contract.

Rony Seikaly, Sherman Douglas, and Billy Owens really played in the wrong era. Players of that level started making so much more money not long after they played.

After Wes’s rookie deal was up, he signed 1 year deals for the minimum like 2-3 years in a row before eventually cashing in a really nice contract with the Clippers.
