Whiffing

An yes, this thread title reminds me of my senior year 2004-2005 living on Ackerman Ave, playing wiffle ball on the corner of Ackerman & Stratford St… some absolutely legendary stories came out of those times, haha.

those Receivers were recruited by shafers staff , erv philips and ishamael . maybe Triston Jackson left because he knew DeVito wasn’t high level ?
Yes. The point is, those recievers put up big numbers before anyone knew TD wasn't going to work out, yet we were unable to land any highly rated WRs during that time. As Cusian said, the timeline doesn't match up. You need to let it go.

I thought this was a thread about farts in church. I was sadly mistaken

Now THAT would be a much more entertaining and informative thread!

There’s more to the numbers , maybe he looked at who else was playing with him at the position, which is my point we couldn’t recruit WR because the story was out. Jackson came as a transfer, if you recall
He went to the NFL? I don’t understand. Tommy threw seemingly every pass his way. I also think we recruited some young talent at WR. I like Hatcher and Gadsen they just need to mature. We did whiff in earlier classes though as has been stated.

Played together one season and he had 66 catches for over 1,000 yards and 11 TDs.

He didn't want to stick around one more year to see if it improved?
And he could have had more if he hadn't had his fair share of drops. TD certainly was not why he left. What a silly assertion.
