best movie of the year so far, by a wide margin. it's electric; I had goosebumps at the end, and my wife and I already have plans to see it again later this week.

JK Simmons is a lock for an Oscar nomination, and Miles Teller is our next great film actor.

just listened to an interview with jk simmons (guy we all recognize but nobody knows his name).on npr yesterday.
movie sounds pretty intense. big questions. is it abuse or fostering perfection? i was a drummer and can relate.
as a side note i just happened to have watched spectacular now last weekend with miles teller. first time i'd seen him.
reminded me a lot of john cusack's cadence. only much huskier in frame.
