White Helmets, Blue Jerseys/Pants Today

As far as I can see, we are the only team with orange as the official color that has gone the route of not featuring orange in their uniforms. Just seems to be the dumbest branding move. Those teams don't seem to think their recruiting will suffer with orange as the dominant color.

Anyone else at the game today count the# of fans they saw wearing the new "hot fire" jerseys? I saw exactly two, so kudos to DG on another branding coup.

Did see a lot of people wearing the 44 Axes t-shirts...really need to get one of those.

I posted at 1225ish. the crowd was late arriving. it was about 20k at the start of the game.

and i highly doubt there were actually 40k. it got much better, but was still pretty weak.

He actually said on air he couldn't read the numbers on the jersey and couldn't tell if the defender was 6 or 9 and I believe it was actually Kelly (8) it was on Marylanders 3rd down fade route to the endzone if memory serves.

Most of the lower sections were full and most of the empties were in student section

The blue jerseys should have their numbers outlined in white. The grey uni's numbers pop very well, white looked great, these blues with no outline...meh.

I liked the white caps yesterday but all that type of stuff is for Sunday-Friday. Win the games. All that matters

One of the SPM instructors at SU had something on Twitter that SU should let fans pick the combo via social media. Nice of the folks around here to offer to do the SUAD's work for them, so they can spend more time out of the office.
