I don't know anybody this year outside of the starters

Tim Barber, Nick Weston, and Sergio Salcido (in place of Jordan Evans)

5/6 of our starting offense.

4/7 of our starting defense.

Most of the D is back next year though, Mullins, Grimm, Tait, McDermott, D'agostino, Hill, Ciferi, Gillis, etc. Big loss is obviously Young and Wardwell and Messina to an extent. SU has a lot of young pole guys who can step in next year including a Sr in Palasek, Chavez, (highly rated), Wenham etc. D short mid should be in good shape with Grimm, Gillis (pretty sure he has been playing SSDM I could be wrong though), Ciferri, Schmitt? and a few others.

The bigger concerns is obviously the offense. Syracuse loses 5 of its top 6 offensive starters including the entire starting mid field. Would be nice if Lecky or Schoonie had another year to help bridge the gap next year but what can you do. I am assuming Desko will move Evans back to attack to team with Donahue. That leaves one spot open. Initial thought is to move Barber there but we will need some veteran leadership on the mid line so I think he stays there. Syracuse brings in some highly regarded offensive players next year including Voight, O'Sullivan, the kid from Georgia etc. Not to mention guys like Thorpe who are redshirting this year and other young guys like Mcginley, Simmons, Jeff Desko, Forkin etc. Will also be interesting to see if Desko hits up OCC again for some instant offense.

Eh let's win it this year and worry about next year, next year. :)

I dont see many O players coming from OCC, I see faceoff man Vaughn Harris, SSDM Adam Bomberry and Defense men Tyson Bell and Oakley Thomas getting looks!

It is such a shame what happened to Vaughn and I have some concerns about him keeping up with school which is understandable! My son was good friends with him and hes a great kid, thoughts are with you VH I hope you can make it!

We also have Brad Voigt doing a PG year in 2014/15, attackman, crafty inside finisher from Penn Yann that will be at Cuse in 15/16.

I believe Vaughn Harris would only have one year of eligibility left, not sure Syracuse would take him at this point.

Why is that because his clock is ticking once you have been at a community college? if he didnt play this year he would still have 2 years left wouldnt he?

Yes the clock starts ticking once you begin at any JUCO school. Depending on when he started he has already used up 2 years that we know about. He could have 2 play 2 going into next season but without knowing the full background its hard to say.

No different than Jeremy Thompson.

He spent 3 years at OCC (even though he only played 2 years), and had 2 years left when he got to SU. You have a 5 year window to play 4 seasons.

If Harris gets eligible, I'm sure SU will take him.

I wasnt sure how many years he had already spent at OCC (I assumed this was his third year but you never know), at this point I dont expect him to make it.

I agree But still hope to see him in the NLL, it's a shame as he's an exceptional face off guy but is more than that, great stick handler with a cannon of a shot!

I think it would be fun to see if Derek DeJoe can get some run with the 2nd midfield. He has a hammer shot on the man up.
