I played against him in the league...oh, the Onondaga North League that is. I let him block my shot a few times.

When my dad was about 21, he coached Danny in CYO ball apparently.

That's mt entire story, I'll try to add in some guns or vampires next time.

Danny was around 6'10" as a soph. Our center was 6'5" tops. Danny gets the ball down low and starts pump faking my center...I was thinking to myself, just shoot the dam ball. Your bigger than a lighthouse...just shoot the dam ball.

Forgot to post this, but checkout who I got to sit next too at the final game of season against the Ville in my rather 'pedestrian' seats... Sad part is, no one else in our section seemed to recognize him...

He still holds the Carrier Dome record for rebounds in a game, with 23 in a game against Georgetown.

He must of picked up the tix off a broker site w/o calling in a favor to JB... otherwise, he wouldn't be sitting in right field with me!

Talk about a guy who has managed to stay out of the Syracuse limelight.....he looks nothing like I remember him, largely because I don't think I've seen a picture of him in years.

When I arrived on campus my freshman year I waited for an elevator to check out my room for the first time. When the elevator door opens, out walks the 7 footer, head bent down so he could clear the door. Sheehey was in the elevator as well.
