KG or Odom are two PF's the Knicks could realistically get in FA that would both be upgrades over Amare in terms of "fit". Too bad Amare's contract is so bad because I really think he could be very good on another team.

I don't think there is any chance in the world the Knicks could get Garnett, unless he wants to take a msssive paycut. Based on how he played this year, he's a 12-15 million dollar player.

I sometimes get the feeling that there is too much money at stake in professional sports to remain pure. The NHL playoffs seemed fixed to me (especially the officiating in the final game of the stanley cup) as did the NBA finals this year.
Wether it's Ewing to the knicks back in the day, Reggie Bush and the Saints after Katrina or Dale Earnhardt winning on fathers day it just feels fixed sometimes.
