I never pieced it all together, but I stayed active on the Rivals board for a little while (apparently I couldn't get enough Cali). Anyhoo, best I could figure he was pretty bitter when this group left Rivals, and used to blast the most recognizable handles here all the time.

I have a suspicion that he used to be "H.Lo" on the original board back circa 2000.

mdb80 never lets facts get in the way of his opinions. He fits right in on the Scout board. There are some nice folks on the Rivals board but it is really dead there. I find a great deal of informed opinion on this board and I think it is by far the best SU forum. Since I live in NC I really appreciate the first hand reports.

There are a surprisingly high number of Rutgers posters. I wasted 3 minutes of my life browsing a thread with about 5 of them arguing with BillOrange over Pinstripe Bowl attendance.

He sent me a private message on the scout board. He seemed to be offended by what I thought was a pretty down the middle post that I made here yesterday.

The guy was delusional, accused me of taking positions and holding opinions that I've never held. Had a basic problem understanding the concept of compare and contrast.

Yeah, he seems to hate this board, and had a particular problem with me, OPA, and CIL, why I have not idea.

Surprised I've never seen him on the newspaper board, he would fit right in apparently.

He has a problem with me too, which is odd because I've never responded to any of his posts. He just seems angry at people that have a connection and like to share information with other fans. MDB gives off major douche chills.
